James Chen

James Chen serves as the CTO at Wonder, a company dedicated to increasing access to high-quality food, following significant leadership roles at other innovative companies. He previously held CTO positions at Built Technologies, focused on construction finance, and Flexport, a global freight forwarder, and was a technology director at Amazon, where he developed a large-scale global logistics system. Prior to Amazon he was a technical executive at Rakuten and built two startups that he led to acquisition. With over 23 years of management and 30 years of programming experience, James is driven by challenging environments where he can apply his extensive expertise to achieve long-term strategic goals.
