Service Level Objectives as Code: Bootstrapping SLOs with Terraform

Service Level Objectives (SLOs) are a great way to measure the health of a service, but they can be difficult to fully understand and even harder to implement. At Sotheby’s, we needed to find a way to get everyone on board with SLOs and make it easy to implement them for every service.
In this session, I’ll share how we implemented SLOs at Sotheby’s and how our process has evolved to apply the “as-code” principle to SLOs. I’ll also discuss our lessons learned and tips for building your own process to implement SLOs as code.
