Date & Location

August 02 | 2:00 PM PDT | Room 2002

Your organization is running workloads successfully in Kubernetes and monitoring their clusters with Datadog, getting relevant insights and being alerted when resources are not healthy. But once you have the baseline covered, what’s next? In this hands-on workshop, you will learn about the more advanced topics and features around monitoring a Kubernetes cluster with Datadog. Some of the topics covered include autoscaling your workloads, cluster checks and cluster check runners, how to add custom checks, and operational best practices on managing and upgrading the Datadog Agent on large Kubernetes clusters. Note: This workshop assumes that you are already comfortable monitoring a Kubernetes cluster with Datadog—including deploying the Datadog Agent and Cluster Agent—and are familiar with the default Kubernetes and Live Containers views in Datadog. There is an intermediate level workshop offered during the morning session at DASH, “Monitoring Your Kubernetes Cluster with Datadog” that covers those topics.
