José Lorenzo Rodríguez is a Director of Engineering at Boozt, one of the biggest retailers in the Nordics. He is currently building a new payment gateway as a startup inside Boozt. Kronor.io, the name of this initiative, has the ambition to become the most merchant-friendly payment gateway in the Nordics area. Before Boozt, he was managing the App Platform team at SeatGeek, a team dedicated to maintaining critical services, improving system performance, and removing bottlenecks for other teams. José is also a contributor to several Open Source projects, notably, the maintainer of Hadolint, a Dockerfile linting tool, and was the lead developer of CakePHP, a popular PHP framework. José also has a passion for mindfulness, something he teaches in his spare time.
