Is Dash cancelled?

No, Dash North America 2020 is not cancelled. Instead, all content and programming will take place online.

How do I get into the event?

When is Dash?

Keynotes and breakout sessions will take place virtually on Tuesday, August 11. Workshops will be held virtually on August 12, 13, 14, 17, & 18. Stay tuned for updates to our agenda.

Where is Dash?

Join us from your mobile device or laptop. In alignment with best practices laid out by the CDC and WHO, the large scale in-person component in New York City has been cancelled.

How much does Dash cost?

Admission to Dash’s keynote and technical sessions is free of charge. Workshops will be charged on an individual basis ($75 each). All proceeds will be donated to COVID-19 relief efforts, and organizations promoting diversity in tech.

Where are workshop proceeds donated?

All workshop proceeds will be donated to: UNICEF, Global FoodBanking Network, NAACP, and Black Girls Code.

If I already paid for a Dash ticket, will I be getting a refund?

Those who registered for the in-person event will be contacted about refund options and re-registered for the virtual event on August 11 at no charge. The free ticket includes access to keynotes, technical sessions, office hours, and networking opportunities. Workshops are available for $75 each.

How do I sign up for the workshops?

You can register for workshops here. If you’ve already registered, you’ll be asked to log back into your account to add workshops to your schedule. Note that space is limited and you must register in advance to participate.

When will the Dash agenda be available?

The finalized agenda can be found here. Please check back for updates, as they will be provided on an ongoing basis.

Can I attend Dash from other timezones?

Dash is a global event that will be accessible to all audiences; North America, EMEA, and APAC. Attendees located in EMEA can tune in for our EMEA-friendly speaking sessions or visit the virtual expo hall, starting at 9 AM EDT / 1 PM GMT.

Dash is also an APAC-friendly event! Attendees located in APAC can expect a similar virtual experience starting at 9am Singapore Standard Time / 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time on August 12.

When do doors open?

Our virtual “doors” will open to North America & EMEA attendees at 9 AM EDT / 1PM GMT on August 11 and will remain open until the following day (Aug 12) to accommodate attendees located in APAC.
